Actuarial Specialist - Investo at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited

ROLE PURPOSE
As a product specialist this role will support the product development and management of the Investo range of products.
The role offers variety of exposure while developing actuarial judgement in balancing the needs of various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

• Supporting the design of innovative product solutions
• Supporting analysis of drivers of profit to improve profitability
• Supporting engagement with various stakeholders within the business, including experienced actuaries and other professionals, regarding issues affecting our products
• Assisting with presentations to internal product and executive committees regarding product investigations
• Building and maintaining models of the business
• Analytics to improve understanding of the business and feedback into product development and management
• Supporting effective implementation of product solutions
• Supporting the management of contractual obligations towards clients
• Performing competitor analysis and investigations
• Supporting cross-functional teams within the department
• Providing support to the training and distribution areas
• Documenting business requirements
• Supporting investigations into ongoing regulatory compliance
• Supporting provisioning of technical marketing

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate degree in Actuarial Science or related degree
• Passes/exemptions for a minimum of 4 of the part A1 and A2 (CT series) subjects
• 1-3 years' experience in the life insurance industry will be an advantage
