Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Computer literacy.
Good interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.
Understanding of customer care and Batho Pele Principles.
Willing to work under pressure.
Duties
Duties: Financial Accounting Transactions: Receive, verify, and process invoices and payment vouchers.
Capture all financial transactions on the relevant financial systems (BAS, LOGIS).
Compile and process journals. Administer petty cash according to guideline.
Perform bank and account reconciliations, including suspense and unallocated accounts. Budgeting Support: Assist in the compilation of budget submissions (e.g., MTEF).
Monitor expenditure against budget and identify variances.
Compile monthly In Year Monitoring (IYM) reports.
Administration & Compliance: Render proper record-keeping and manage filing systems for all financial documents.
Ensure compliance with the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and other financial prescripts.
Assist during audit processes by providing required information.
Handle internal and external queries related to financial matters.
