Administrative Officer at Stellenbosch University

Duties/Pligte        

• Capturing creditor invoices.
• Compliance of VAT requirements regarding input VAT.
• Following up variances between authorised and invoiced amounts.
• Following up of insufficient funds to ensure the timeous payment of invoices.
• Dealing with internal and external creditor-related queries.
• Posting invoices to departments within the University for completion of goods received on the system.
• Following up on outstanding purchase orders.
• Reconciling creditors accounts.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes        

• At least Grade 12.
• The ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Proven ability to function independently and in a team.
• Basic computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience of working on a financial system.
• One year's experience in a similar environment.
