    Administrative Support - Banking & Partnerships

    What you'll be doing

    Overall administrative support to the Banking & Partnership environment(s), to achieve set and agreed targets

    Conform with the all related compliance, legislation, internal & external policies, scheme rules and procedures, to ensure that the sales, product and operational risks are supported and adhered to

    Administration

    • Provide the Banking & Partnership team with complete administrative support, in order to meet set and agreed targets
    • Manage calls, follow-up on enquiries & mails with the banks and merchants, if and when required
    • Assist the Banking team in ensuring that contracts and related administrative data are correctly processed/captured onto the different and related systems, within agreed timeframes & turnaround
    • Maintain MIS/dashboard documentation and present when required
    • Banking, Partner & Merchant engagement, interaction and appointment co-ordination

    Product Management

    • Harness an understanding of the organisation’s product, benefits and service offerings
    • Interpret merchant requirements and timeously address and resolve merchant queries
    • Solid understanding of financial institutions Issuing & Acquiring environments (Merchant Services)

    Process Management

    • Strictly adhere to company core values, policies, procedures and guidelines
    • Adhere and conform to the workflow of daily administrative and sales tasks
    • Focus on continuous improvement of manual support processes
    • Attend internal meetings, if and when required

    Stakeholder Management

    • Foster mutual beneficial relationship with banking, paaartnerships, internal and external stakeholders
    • Adhere to daily workflow and the co-ordination of SLA management, between stakeholders

    Personal Development

    • Focus and participate in on-going personal product training, cross-training and up-skilling industry Embrace a climate of continuous learning
    • Agree and sign-off Personal Development Plans and take ownership of own career development
    • Prepare and participate in quarterly performance appraisals

    Governance & Compliance

    • Ensure that all sales related, including reputational risks are managed, adhered to and minimised
    • Adhere to relative legislation and regulatory requirements
    • Stay abreast of Compliance requirements, Consumer Protection Act, AML, etc…

    What you'll need

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
    • Diploma in Business Administration and/or Banking Diploma (beneficial)
    • 2 - 3 years in Administrative role (essential)
    • 2 - 3 years in Administrative role in the e-Commerce, Payments and/or Financial Institutions industry- Issuing & Acquiring (beneficial)
    • Well spoken & excellent telephone etiquetteAbility to use own initiative and work independently
    • Computer literate (spreadsheets & MIS preparation via Excel, etc)
    • Methodical, meticulous & high level of attention to detail
    • Energetic, enthusiastic & confident
    • Good time management & workflow co-ordination skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
