    Admissions Consultant

    Overall Purpose of the Role

    • The Admissions Consultant will report directly to the Principal and work in close collaboration with the Sales Manager, Bursar, Academic Administrator and Sales & Marketing Officer.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable enrolment growth, strengthening retention initiatives, supporting brand positioning, and ensuring an exceptional prospective parent and student journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
    • The role requires a highly organised and strategic individual capable of integrating admissions, consumer engagement, marketing support, and relationship management into a cohesive enrolment and brand-growth strategy.
    • The Admissions Consultant will contribute meaningfully towards positioning Crawford Lonehill College as a leading and aspirational academic institution within the Sandton region.

    Reporting To:

    • Sales Manager and Principal

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum requirement: Grade 12 with a proven sales and client engagement record.
    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, Public Relations, or a related field will be advantageous.
    • Additional certifications or training in Sales, Marketing, Digital Media, Consumer Experience, or CRM systems will be beneficial.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in admissions, sales, marketing, client experience, or a similar environment.
    • Experience within an educational environment will be advantageous.
    • Demonstrated experience in relationship-building, lead conversion, marketing coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Proven ability to work with data, reporting metrics, and strategic growth initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Admissions, Lead Management, and Conversion:

    • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual enrolment targets.
    • Manage the full admissions pipeline from enquiry to enrolment.
    • Ensure all leads are contacted and actioned within 24 hours.
    • Conduct professional campus tours and curate exceptional prospective family experiences.
    • Conduct admissions consumer journey
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective parents, students, feeder schools, and educational stakeholders.
    • Accurately capture, update, and manage leads on Stasy and other admissions platforms.
    • Track and keep Fresh Sales (CRM) up to date.
    • Track and report on:
    • Lead sources
    • Conversion rates
    • Waiting list movement
    • Scholarship uptake
    • Retention trends
    • Sales trend insights
    • Consumer profiling
    • Student health lifecycle+3:         
    • Support the development of intentional enrolment pipeline strategies aligned with school capacity planning.
    • Work collaboratively with school leadership to ensure admissions decisions align with academic standards, culture, and values.
    • Assist families through the application and enrolment process with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency.
    • Ensure a seamless handover of enrolled students to the relevant client administration teams.

    Strategic Marketing and Brand Positioning:

    • Support the implementation of school-level marketing initiatives aligned with Crawford International brand strategy
    • Assist in strengthening Crawford Lonehill College’s visibility, positioning, and market presence.
    • Contribute towards maintaining consistent visual identity and messaging across:
    • Newsletters
    • Invitations
    • Event programmes
    • Handbooks
    • Promotional material
    • Digital platforms
    • Support strategic campaigns that highlight:
    • Academic excellence
    • Grade 12 achievements
    • Student opportunities
    • Campus culture
    • Future-focused learning environments
    • Assist in ensuring the school’s social media presence remains professional, aspirational, engaging, and aligned to brand guidelines.
    • Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness and consumer engagement metrics.
    • Train, Co-ordinate Photography department. collaborate with Sports. Academic and cultural department
    • Support data-driven marketing initiatives linked directly to conversion and retention outcomes.

    Events and Community Engagement:

    • Coordinate and support Open Days, information evenings, scholarship events, and strategic campus experiences.
    • Strengthen feeder-school relationships and community engagement opportunities.
    • Represent the school professionally at expos, networking functions, and external marketing events.
    • Assist in creating meaningful consumer experiences that reflect the school’s culture, excellence, and values.
    • Build relationships with local media and community stakeholders to strengthen brand awareness.

    Reporting, Analytics, and Operational Support:

    • Submit accurate monthly reporting to Brand Marketing and school leadership.
    • Analyse admissions and retention trends to support strategic planning.
    • Attend weekly Admissions
    • Assist in tracking:
    • Cost per acquisition
    • Conversion performance
    • Enrolment trends
    • Attrition patterns
    • Support retention initiatives through consumer feedback and exit trend analysis.
    • Assist with budgeting and management of marketing expenditure where required.
    • Attend staff meetings and strategic planning sessions as requested by the Principal.
