What impact will you make?

As a Consultant in the resilience, crisis & Reputation team at Deloitte you help our Clients in the broad field of crisis management. You support in the preparation phase for a crisis, during – real time – response and ultimately in the recovery phase of high impact events. You identify scenario’s and strategic risks for complex and international organizations, help with the writing of plans and procedures and support during the implementation of these (training and simulations).  Deloitte uses a unique holistic approach covering all phases not only helping Clients to overcome a crisis but especially become resilient as a whole. Ultimately with the aim of making Society as whole more resilient.

How you will make an Impact

As a consultant you will work under the supervision of a (senior) manager. Your activities consist of:

• Advisory work on the development of resilience- and crisis management programs;
• Drawing up tailor-made plans and procedures (e.g. BCM, incident response, crisis management) for a large variety of clients;
• Developing, executing, and evaluating of trainings and exercises in the realm of crisis management;
• Delivering added value to the team with your expertise;
• Supporting of clients with live response during (large) high impact incidents or crises;
• Developing and maintaining strong business relationships, both internal and external.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the realm of Crisis & Security Management, Public Administration and Organizational Science or another relevant Master’s degree

Experience & Skills

• Preferably several years of professional experience in the field of Resilience, Crisis management and/or Business Continuity Management.  For the role of Consultant Resilience, Crisis & Reputation, you also have:

1. Outstanding communicative skills in both English and potentially a second language (in writing as well as oral)
2. Experience in project management
3. An entrepreneurial drive, with a keen business sense for creating and maintaining relationships with clients
4. Great attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure and to deliver on a consistently high level
5. The capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
