Job Description

• responsible for installing OS and/or updates;
• responsible for installing applications and/or updates;
• ensure that certificates remain up-to-date by requesting and installing new ones in a timely manner;
• checking and, where necessary, restoring backups;
• acting on incidents and reports;
• monitoring the environment through Health Monitoring.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS admin and maintenance.
• Hypervisor maintenance (VMWare Cloud Director).
• Networking (VMWare NSX-T).
• VM backup software (Veeam), DNS (InfoBlox).
• Experience with creating new machines VM management.
• Basic knowledge of networks and protocols such as DNS and experience in managing client-server and web-based applications. Experience with Ansible is an advantage.
• Basic ITIL knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• minimum community college (MBO) or Junior college education equivalent
• experience of VMWare in general and in particular of Cloud Director and NSX-T;
• experience with both Windows and Linux;
• availability to possibly run a 24/7 service;
• able to work both independently and in a team;
• a good command of the English language in speaking and writing.
