Agile Product Owner at CSG International

• The CSG Corporate Applications Team is adding a new position of Agile Product Owner to help drive our product roadmaps, adoption, and business value delivery. We need someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset for distilling business value and goals into feature definitions and refined product backlogs. Objectives of this role will be to Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout planned PIs. Collaborate with internal customers to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals. Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI. Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

Job Duties

• Work with internal customers to define and align product roadmaps to strategic goals
• Lead all Agile Scrum Ceremonies including but not limited to 2 Daily Scrum meetings (M-Th), PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Retros
• Develop, scope, and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories/pointing) that guide the Agile software development team
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value aligned with product strategy
• Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout development stages including planning, refinement, review, and sprint
• Drive team understanding of customer journey reflected in Feature requests\stories
• Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving/changing delivery environment

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 6+ years of IT project experience.
• Minimum 4 years of Agile Product Owner experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with multiple agile teams simultaneously.
• Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Experience in management of stakeholders and their expectations
• Knowledge of or experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment
