    About the role

    We are looking for an Analyst Community Development and projects who will be part of the team that identifies, implement and monitor Mine Community Development projects. This role is a great opportunity for an individual who is good with project management tool, have respectful, can engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
    Reporting to the Senior Advisor Community Development and Projects and working in a collaborative community within Communities and Cooperate Relations team, you will be

    • Undertake research and monitoring of activities in support of the Social and Labour process
    • Monitor progress using project management tools and systems to ensure progress of SLP commitments and projects.
    • Identify, assess and control of risks relating to projects.
    • Provide support to the Senior Advisor on engagement processes with relevant stakeholders including government agencies on the SLP.
    • Ensure all activities are aligned with both RBM and Rio Tinto Group policies, Standards and approaches, including The Way We Work

    About You
    To be successfully considered for this role, you will have

    • 3+ years’ experience with Mine and Community Development, with experience in Social Labour Plan Management and knowledge of relevant legislation
    • National Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / Economics/ Social Science
    • Honours Degree will be an advantage
    • License EB
    • Strong safety mindset
    • Must be able to understand and speak Zulu
