Purpose Statement

Ensure that all projects, commercial models and business cases are delivered with proper cost-benefit support 

Experience

Minimum:

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in an analytical role

Ideal:

• 3 years’ experience in management accounting roles in dynamic environments that included building activity-based cost models and performing project appraisal

• Regular exposure to members of the Executive Committee

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Accounting - Financial Accounting

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• A relevant post graduate degree in Accounting - Management Accounting

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Knowledge

Minimum:

• Activity-based costing

• Budgeting and forecasting

• Capital cost calculations

• Card payment systems (card present, card not present)
