Experience

Minimum:

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in an analytical role

Ideal:

• 3 years’ experience in management accounting roles in dynamic environments that included building activity-based cost models and performing project appraisal

• Regular exposure to members of the Executive Committee

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Accounting - Financial Accounting

• A relevant post graduate degree in Accounting - Management Accounting

Purpose Statement

• To ensure all financial accounting transactions are effectively and efficiently recorded and accounted for within the financial results

• To review and analyse financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

• To perform and review Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure all Balance Sheet values are comprehensively substantiated

Experience

Minimum:

• 2 years Accounting experience

• This should include the responsibility for executing a wide range of accounting functions

• Providing financial advisory support to business

Ideal:

• SAP system (accounting module/s)

• Capitec experience

• SAICA / SAIPA Articles

Purpose Statement

• Lead a team of analysts to develop and optimise pricing models for credit products and channels of Capitec Bank, with the goal to drive fair and appropriate client prices, while optimising the bank’s return on equity

Experience

Projects Team(s)

Minimum:

• 3 years’ experience in analytical roles that included exposure to provisioning, credit pricing and/or other related credit analytics.

• Proven experience in building a credit pricing and/or cash flow forecasting model from first principles

Ideal:

• Experience in a leadership role that included managing a team of analysts

• Capitec Bank experience

• Regular exposure to senior management or members of the Executive Committee
