Purpose Statement
To ensure all financial accounting transactions are effectively and efficiently recorded and accounted for within the financial results
To review and analyse financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
To perform and review Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure all Balance Sheet values are comprehensively substantiated
Experience
Minimum:
2 years Accounting experience
This should include the responsibility for executing a wide range of accounting functions
Providing financial advisory support to business
Ideal:
SAP system (accounting module/s)
Capitec experience
SAICA / SAIPA Articles
Qualifications (Minimum)
Diploma in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
A relevant degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance
Knowledge
Minimum:
Knowledge and understanding of:
Management of accounts
Computerised accounting systems and principles
Financial analysis of large volumes data in an efficient manner and interpretation of results
Business communication
Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Ideal:
Capitec knowledge
Knowledge of SAP Accounting System
