Application Analyst (8219) at Investec Asset Management

Description of the role 

Investec is looking for an Application Analyst responsible for supporting the application suite in the Governance, Risk and Compliance team for the Investec UK office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operational and procedural functions and the application suite used by Investec UK. The role will involve project and business-as-usual application support, resolving user issues and requests, and maintaining systems and related interfaces where required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to support and maintain risk application(s)
• Partner with stakeholders to develop analyses and documentation collaboratively, communicating effectively and efficiently with vendors and technical teams.
• Evaluate, analyse, and communicate systems requirements continuously and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
• Author and update internal and external documentation and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
• Conduct daily systems analytics to maximise effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
• Develop relationships with business stakeholders, technical team and vendors
• Agree working hours to support UK systems when there is a time-difference between geographies.
