Application Consultant (WMS/WMOS) - Kempton Park at DHL Supply Chain

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Business process analysis 
• Business process modelling using any standard tool like Visio
• Business process optimization  
• Business process root cause analysis     
• Will be responsible for conducting workshops with business stakeholders to elicit new business requirements  
• Will be responsible for end to end development of new or existing reports and including labels
• Will be responsible for documenting business requirements in a concise and structured business format
• Will be responsible for documenting test cases and execution of testing
• Will be responsible for planning and executing regression testing
• Will responsibe for WMOS Configuration            
• Perform SIT during this phase of the project     
• Assist business during UAT    
• WMS application support     

Qualifications/ Skills/Competencies/Experiences

• WMOS or other WMS      
• Diploma/Degree in relevant education
• SQL            
• Excellent and strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills          
• Analytical, process minded and problem-solving skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail 
• Ability to work under pressure and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment  
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business environment                
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams   
• Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field
• Ability to prioritize, perform multiple tasks concurrently and make timely and sound decisions
• Supply Chain Management/Warehouse Management Systems                
• Strong analytical skills                            
• Initiative / Self-Starter                              
• Positive & enthusiastic Team Player  
• Basic understanding of computer networks      
• Trouble shooting of business problems and reported issues    
• Knowledge of IBM Cognos, Zebra Designer, Report Builder or similar    
• Application configuration                            
• Must be able to provide support to operations across the country  
• Superuser Training                            
• Process analysis, design and documentation

• Understanding BI, Report and Labels development
• Minimum 3-5 years experience within IT  
• Minimum 3 years WMS or WMS implementation experience                
• NQF Level 6 – Diploma/Degree   
• Relevant courses in WMOS, SQL and similar
