    Warehouse Supervisor - Pietermaritzburg

    Role Accountabilities:

    • ensuring that KPI’s are met, zero discrepancies, stock loaded and offloaded on time, ensuring productivity and activities are compliant with contractual KPI’s, shrinkage is minimised, MHE’s are allocated, stock integrity on goods received and dispatched.
    • by achieving of contractual KPI’s, effective utilisation of labour within budget, daily volumes and resource plans are aligned, verify and ensure daily activities and goals are achieved.

    Pallet Clerk

    Key Accountabilities

    • Responsible and accountable for Pallet Control
    • Ensure that there are enough pallets on site
    • Responsible for the management of pallets in the trade and at customers nationally
    • Responsible for the update of CHEP details for customers on the master data
    • Responsible for the daily capturing and reconciliation of pallet movements on DHL for pallets de-hired off the DHL CHEP Account
    • Ensure that accurate customer records cards are kept- as hard copies and such documentation is available
    • Reconcile Hauliers Cartage to the CHEP invoice on a weekly basis
    • Reconcile on a weekly / monthly basis, the pallet costs
    • Reconcile the CHEP Account to the Master Control Card
    • Resolve all outstanding queries to prevent excessive costs on the CHEP Account
    • Organise and co-ordinate monthly pallet counts and reconcile to eliminate pallet losses
    • Continuous training and guidance of Dispatch Clerks on pallet capturing and issuing of pallet control documents
    • Monthly reports to Customer Service Consultants on outstanding pallets in the trade
    • Subjective decision making, concerning pallet identification for write -off allocation and queries
    • To report accurate and timeous information to Management
    • To effectively control and manage pallet costs and pallet losses – tracking of pallets going out
    • To build relationships throughout the Supply Chain e.g. Dispatch Clerks, Hauliers, Customers, Depots, Customer Service Consultants etc.

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • Business process analysis 
    • Business process modelling using any standard tool like Visio

    Inventory Lead - Boksburg

    General Accountabilities

    Team Management  

    • Effective leadership and management of the operational and administrative teams

    AFR Export Controller - Durban

    In this AFR Export Controller position

    • You will establish and maintain relationships with existing customers.
    • You will follows-up shipment status in the Export area, identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents.
    • You will coordinate and liaises with shipper, customer, and/or DHL overseas office on the total movement of the shipment.
    • You will ensure the accurate tariffs application on all shipment’s billings.
    • You will manage the profitability of every shipment and raising any issues or incidents that would impact the profitability of the account.

    • You will perform customs entries on all export shipments and all related customs formalities.
    • You will constantly be demonstrating and living the values of DHL. 

     Now, here’s what we need from you

    • Must have a Grade 12.
    • Tertiary education including diploma will be an advantage.
    • CAT6 GD certificate will be preferred.
    • Cargowise experience will be an advantage.
