If you have formal Draughtsman qualifications, practical experience in utility solar, BESS, and transmission line design, and are fluent in English (with proficiency in Afrikaans and local languages), we want to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

• As a Senior Solar Draughtsman, you will play a key role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for solar energy systems. Your responsibilities will include developing accurate site layouts, electrical schematics, and equipment specifications using CAD software. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge renewable energy projects, collaborating closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet regulatory standards and project requirements.

What you’ll need

• To excel in this role, you should have formal Draughtsman qualifications, practical experience in designing utility solar, BESS, and transmission lines, and proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD with PVcase. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a deep understanding of renewable energy principles are essential.
