Universal Storage Systems (SA) (Pty) Ltd is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of industrial steel racking, shelving, and mezzanine flooring, throughout Sub Sahara Africa.

We are looking for a dynamic salesperson to join our Durban Branch head office team.

Below are the following responsibilities that will be required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have experience within the racking and shelving industry. if No previous experience; your application will not be accepted.
• Own Car and valid driver license

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily function of the sales department.
• Weekly and monthly reports (quote Banks etc.)
• Receive orders internally or externally and process required orders. Liaise with existing customers telephonically or through customer site visits.
• Canvas for new customers or respond to leads received with 24hours.
• Compile required quotes and tenders, Requisitions, Buyouts, Special Products, etc.
• Follow up with production lead times.
• Explain the required technical data and product to customers.
• Follow up orders and ensure the specified product with the desired quality is delivered to the customer on time.
• Site Management, Contractor’s Agreement, and completion certificates or ongoing projects
• Liaise with installers on site. Ensure housekeeping, health and safety are maintained at the required standard.
• Report back to senior management
• Follow up with invoices and payments from customers.
• Do customer surveys. After-sales techniques
• Attend weekly Sales Meetings.
• Undertake other responsibilities when requires by Management/ Director.
