Job Advert Summary    

• Clover is currently recruiting for an Artisan Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing semi skilled maintenance tasks, assist millwrights during shifts, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Clayville branch. 

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Completed millwright theoretical modules (only practical outstanding)
• Business English: Fluent
• Work shifts/weekends/public holidays
• Code 10 motor vehicle license
• Computer literacy (Basic) 
• Experience in working with senior management
• Work in confined spaces

• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamentals
• Must be competent in basic hand tool use

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Provide support to Artisan        
• Assist millwrights on shifts
• 6-Day shift worker
• Prepare equipment for repairs        
• Clean equipment after repairs        
• Move heavy equipment   
• Perform general maintenance tasks
• Assist millwrights on breakdowns
• Assist team with planned maintenance during shutdowns
