Job Advert Summary    

• The purpose of this position is to perform semi-skilled maintenance tasks and provide support to artisans, ensuring the effective maintenance of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure while contributing to safe and efficient operations.                                                                                                                                                               

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Welding or plastic welding knowledge will be an added advantage. 
• Business English: Fluent 
• Work shifts/weekends/public holidays when required 
• Code 8 motor vehicle license 
• Computer literacy (Basic) 
• Experience in working with senior management 
• Work in confined spaces and heights when required.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Inspections and plastic welding repairs to be carried out on Feta moulds daily.
• Provide support to Artisan during maintenance.
• Clean and prepare equipment for repairs.  
• Move heavy equipment and ensure workshops and work areas are clean daily.
• Perform semi-skilled tasks as and when required. 
• Perform plastic welding tasks as well as basic repairs to workshop equipment.
• Assists with disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, repairing on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform basic inspections on workshop equipment as per schedules.
