Artisan Coordinator (Maintenance) at Glencore

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12
• Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
• Mechanical trade certificate.

 SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years’ experience in heavy industry which includes 1 year in a senior position
• Experience in Crushers, Pumps, vibrator feeders and Conveyor Belts
• SAP, Coupa and Isometrix knowledge
• Computer literacy
• Good verbal and written communication skills

JOB OBJECTIVES

In this role you will be responsible to the Superintendent (Engineering) for the following:

• Ensuring safety compliance in the section
• Coordination of the Mechanical team, which includes controlling of operational activities, personnel, budgets and HSEQ systems compliance
• Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards / procedures
• Maintain discipline in the issuing, receiving, and capturing of PM orders continuously
• Ensuring plant spares availability, maintain spares stock levels, managing and reporting critical spares, managing special equipment and tools for artisans.
• Attend to Breakdowns
• Preventative Maintenance
• Planned maintenance
• Plant maintenance shutdown planning and execution
• Standby duties
