Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Maintenance and fault-finding residential houses, sewage pump stations, and sewage plant.;
• Ensures the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment;
• Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
• Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance;
• Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
• Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
• Coordinates activities associated with contractors. 

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years in a maintenance environment;
• Maintenance and fault-finding residential houses, sewage pump stations, and sewage plant, fixed plants as well as medium voltage switchgear. 

Qualifications for this role are:

• N3 Technical Certificate external candidates and N2 for internal candidates;
• Valid Electricidal trade test;
• Grade 12.
