Management of the maintenance process in area of responsibility to enable operations teams to reach production targets within the principles of WMP (work management process)
Key Accountabilities
Deliver products and service in accordance with customer requirements.
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
Maintenance of all petrol/diesel equipment.
Liaise with plants using the equipment.
Perform Standby duties.
Fault finding in Diesel equipment
Team work
Mange self
Diligent and disciplined individual
Live and demonstrate Sasol Values
Ensure that product produced is of high quality.
Training of operators and hired labour.
Manage fleet of Diesel Machinery, tractors, LHD.s and Forklifts.
Service and maintain all diesel equipment on site.
Formal Education
Grade 12 with Maths & Science (must)
Artisan Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (must)
Valid Code 08 Driver’s license (must)
Working Experience
1-3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
Experience in maintaining diesel equipment and machinery
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
