Our Client is looking for a talented and hard-working artist that is sought to develop and deliver artwork for a graphic novel project.
The project is about a military campaign which occurred during World War One. An active interest in world history, the history of warfare, and history in general will be preferred.
The project is currently intended to be delivered in three to five volumes and runs to approximately 800 pages in total.
There is scope for planning and creative direction participation in the project for the right candidate, as well as potential for professional artistic development.
No previous experience is necessary for the artist: Portfolios submitted to me ([email protected]) should demonstrate strong traditional drawing skills and emphasise facility with charcoal and pencil across a wide range of subject matters, with attention to detail and accurate rendering of the human figure being paramount.
A portfolio of original drawing work, as described above.
A single original drawing (A3 or A4, either portrait or landscape orientation) you KNOW best depicts Lance Corporal Job Maseko engaged in the act for which he was awarded the Military Medal during World War Two (any hand-drawn, scanned image is acceptable).
Your CV if available.
A single-paragraph motivation for why you are the right candidate.
