Asset Analyst: Data Analytics/Project Management Specialization at Scatec ASA

Main Responsibilities

• Use automated tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel Macros to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Remove corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
• Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
• Landowner relationship management
• Review the electricity tariff and kilowatt hours of electricity sold
• Update monthly operating cashflow models and provide recommendations and reporting based on performance
• Monitor debt covenants and other key financial metrics per financial forecasts
• Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports using data analytics and dashboards
• Monitor maintenance and operations activities of the assetsMonitor the compliance in all contracts and activities
• Providing and implementing notices under the agreements

Qualifications And Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, ICT, financial statistics, artificial intelligence, business science or equivalent
• 3-5 years working experience in the following environments: Project finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modelling, Management Consulting, IT Consulting, E-Commerce, Business Intelligence, Technology, Fintech
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in market-leading data analytics tools such as - Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI, SAP or HANA
• Proficiency in understanding and budgeting on an accrual accounting basis and linking 3-statement financial models
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting management accounts, financial statements and budgets
• Proficiency in cashflow analysis, projections and tracking performance metrics against budget
• Professional qualification such as CFA, PMP
• Financial modelling certification such as BIDA®
• Independent power producer or large-scale renewable energy certifications training/certifications would be beneficial
