Asset Management Investment Specialist at PPS

Job Advert Summary    

A hugely exciting new role, with the opportunity to materially influence the next phase of growth for PPS Investments. The successful candidate will drive the aggregator investment distribution strategy within their specific region, representing the Investment Management Capability and its solutions to the market. Responsible for the distribution and marketing of the PPS Fund range to DFMs, Fund of Funds, platforms and a specific subset of the intermediary market the individual will also work closely with the PPSI retail sales team.  

Minimum Requirements    

• Knowledge of local and international asset management landscape with thorough understanding of investment product range within the competitive market environment. Credibility with industry stakeholders and track record of ability to grow an asset management. capability and execute on this strategy.

Experience:

• At least 5 years proven track record and experience within the asset management industry including DFM and/or multi management experience
• Commercially driven with ability to develop business and bring on new partnerships
• Established IFA, DFM, LISP and Fund of Fund relationships will be an advantage
• Strong technical knowledge of investment products with demonstrated ability in the business development space

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• CFA/CAIA/CIPM or studying towards would be advantageous
• RE5 would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Drive growth of PPS fund range in the retail and wholesale market
• Identify opportunities for new markets and implement strategies to grow AUM
• Grow the PPS Investments asset management brand by networking with key industry stakeholders
• Facilitate the development and maintenance of a sustainable new business pipeline
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships to leverage new opportunities
• Management of key stakeholder relationships
• Work closely with the investment and positioning teams as well as the asset managers to reinforce fund positioning in a market-appropriate manner
• Engage with the Executive of Partnership Asset Management and via this engagement, work with product development to enhance the asset management capability with a view of improving client outcomes and business revenue
• Provide feedback to the investment and product teams on client needs & expectations in light of strategy and investor sentiment – “know your client”
• Liaise with the business intelligence team to deliver reports to stakeholder forums demonstrating the performance of the strategy
• Use investment knowledge and market insights to grow investment management capabilities
