Assistant Accountant at Nurture Brands

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
• Manage payment of creditors within payment terms
• Review reconciliations and payment batches
• Manage payment batches to ensure creditors paid within terms
• Supervise the accurate processing of creditors documentation
• Trading term accounting, review and reconciliations
• Resolving trading term queries, investigations and explanations timeously
• EMP201 information verified to payroll control accounts
• VAT calculation & reconciliation. 
• Maintain fixed asset register, depreciation journals, reconciliation to general ledger and fixed asset register file
• Review reports and reconciliations of other staff and submit to the Financial ManagerControl and reconcile petty cash (CPT & JHB)
• Review and approve GL codes on requisition application

Requirements

What are we looking for: 

• Certificate in bookkeeping
• Minimum 3 years creditors and bookkeeping experience
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of Syspro software
