Assistant Demand Planner at Essity

About the Role
The Assistant Demand Planner will be responsible for ensuring all sales warehouses are timeously replenished and adequately stock to meet in-market demand and assisting with all activities associated with developing and improving the sales forecast. This role will report directly to the Demand Planner.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for inventory analysis, reporting and analysis;
• Sales/Market Warehouse inventory planning, review and replenishments;
• Monitor, investigate and report demand variations;
• Support with demand analysis, forecast development and improvements;
• Monitor Warehouse service levels and drive superior performance;
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Customer Service to drive on time in full (OTIF) fulfilment;
• Timeous preparation and submission of management reporting requirements;
• Actively develop and maintain stakeholder relationships both internally and externally;
• Support the Demand Planner with projects and general daily operational requirements.

Who You Are

• Must have matric with further qualification in Supply Chain or Data Analytics;
• Minimum of 3 years’ demand planning or assistant demand planning and data analysis experience in Manufacturing or FMCG medical device industry;
• Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in - Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SAP, APO/ERP Software;
• Must be organized, skilled in reporting with attention to detail, accuracy and be deadline driven;
• Must be a strong collaborator with good communication skills (verbal, written and listening) and be fluent in English;
• Must have the ability to drive performance, processes, and solutions forward.
