Assistant Director: Early Warning System and Annual Returns
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in health care, 3 of which must have been in direct patient care. Experience must include health data analysis and/or management of health information systems.
Good communication (written and verbal), Interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills. A valid driver’s license.
Advantages:
A Postgraduate qualification in health care will serve as an advantage. Experience in health quality management/case management/project management in healthcare will serve as an added advantage.
Duties:
Manage and coordinate the administration, submission, monitoring and reporting of the Annual Returns (AR) and Early Warning System (EWS) information systems for health establishments.
Support the development and implementation of procedures, protocols (governance systems) and operational guidelines for both functions. Monitor and verify the completeness, accuracy and timelines of submitted AR and EWS data to ensure data quality, compliance and timely reporting.
Provide technical support to health establishments and internal stakeholders. Maintain and monitor an updated national health establishment register. Assist with any ad-hoc tasks required by the unit.
