Assistant Director Health Professional Management And Support
A Grade 12 Certificate, and a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) as recognized by SAQA in Public Administration/ Management.
3–5 years’ experience in Administration at supervisory level. Knowledge of legal framework and regulations. Knowledge of Occupation Specific Dispensation Resolutions (OSD) for all professional categories.
Sound and in-depth knowledge of relevant transcripts, application of Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) Project and proven knowledge of WISN Study Software will be and added advantage. Presentation, facilitation and report writing skills.
Project Management skills. Good communication skills (verbal and written), problem solving and ability to work. Computer literacy. Must be in possession of Valid driver’s license and willing to travel.
Duties :
Assist with the management of projects. Strengthen and maintain internal and external collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Coordinate, facilitate and implement the best practice work procedures and methods to streamline workflow. Assist with the development, facilitation and monitoring of the implementation of policies, regulations, practices and procedures.
Assist with the support, monitoring and implementation of the various Occupation Specific Dispensation (OSD) Resolutions. Advise and support HR Management, Labour Relations and employees with addressing and resolution of OSD enquiries, grievances and disputes. Design and implement a Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) project plan.
Assist to coordinate, manage and facilitate WISN training workshops for various staff categories. Conduct WISN support and monitoring visits for all institutions. Provide advice/recommendations on WISN and OSD for service delivery improvement.
