A Bachelor of Oral Hygiene Degree [A relevant master’s degree and higher] Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Oral Hygienist with independent practice.
A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA in the profession. A minimum of 5 years appropriate experience in Management. Proven experience in teaching and learning, research and community engagement.
Duties :
Be involved in the general management and administration of department. liaise and support the head of Oral Hygiene and Dental Therapy in teaching and learning activities; undertake research activities (supervision, planning and execution).
Plan and manage clinical and outreach services. Academic and resource management. Assist in the implementation of GDoH and SMU policies and programmes.
