Assistant Financial Manager at Snatch.work

• We are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Manager to support the Head of Finance in managing financial operations, compliance, and reporting within a fast-paced Telecommunications/ICT environment.
• This role requires exceptional analytical ability, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in navigating industry-specific regulations and financial frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and telecom industry standards.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare performance reports for executive stakeholders.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and collections.
• Maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, telecommunications financial regulations, and tax compliance.
• Coordinate and support external audits.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor budget adherence.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting with AGA(SA), SAIPA, or CA(SA) designation.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience in the Telecommunications or ICT industry (non-negotiable).
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and team-management capabilities.
