Assistant IT Audit Manager - Analytics at Forvis Mazars Group

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and preparation for audit engagements, including scope, timelines, and budget.
• Design, develop, and implement data analytics solutions to support audit engagements.
• Oversee and organize analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain data models and dashboards to provide insights into audit findings.
• Collaborate with audit teams to integrate data analytics into audit processes.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders throughout the audit process.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on data analytics tools and techniques.
• Document audit processes and methodologies used in analytics projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the audit process.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and visualization principles.
• Understanding of data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, and other relevant software.
• Experience in audit or assurance services, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other data analytics tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, or similar.
• Knowledge of audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Preference will be given to candidates that have worked or currently working in an audit firm.
