Assistant Manager Nursing PNA7 (Quality Assurance) This Is a Re-Advertisement And All Those Who Previously Applied Must Please Re-Apply
Matric/grade 12 Certificate with basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice R425 (i.e. Diploma / Degree in Nursing) qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse in General, Psychiatry & Midwifery. A post basic qualification in Nursing Administration / Health Service Management.
A minimum of 8 years appropriate / recognizable experience in Nursing, after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred above must be appropriate / recognizable experience at management level.
Extensive knowledge in customer care service program. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be a recognizable/ appropriate experience at management level in quality assurance unit.
Relevant knowledge and understanding of legislative framework applicable to practice in public health facility. Computer literacy in MS Office Package (MS Word, Ms. Excel, and Ms. PowerPoint).
Presentation skills. Competencies: The applicant must have Operational Management skills. Complete knowledge of the National Core Standard for Health Establishment.
Duties :
Coordinate reporting investigations and management of complaints and serious adverse events, incidences in the hospital. Participate in selected clinical audits. Provide initiative to improve customer care in a user-friendly environment. Advocate for and ensure the promotion of National Core (NORMS) Standards and Ideal Hospital Framework.
Conduct client satisfaction surveys and share results with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure that monthly internal audits are conducted in patients care units in compliance with National Core Standards
