Requirements :

• Matric/grade 12 Certificate with basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice R425 (i.e. Diploma / Degree in Nursing) qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse in General, Psychiatry & Midwifery. A post basic qualification in Nursing Administration / Health Service Management.
• A minimum of 8 years appropriate / recognizable experience in Nursing, after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred above must be appropriate / recognizable experience at management level.
• Extensive knowledge in customer care service program. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be a recognizable/ appropriate experience at management level in quality assurance unit.
• Relevant knowledge and understanding of legislative framework applicable to practice in public health facility. Computer literacy in MS Office Package (MS Word, Ms. Excel, and Ms. PowerPoint).
• Presentation skills. Competencies: The applicant must have Operational Management skills. Complete knowledge of the National Core Standard for Health Establishment.

Duties :

• Coordinate reporting investigations and management of complaints and serious adverse events, incidences in the hospital. Participate in selected clinical audits. Provide initiative to improve customer care in a user-friendly environment. Advocate for and ensure the promotion of National Core (NORMS) Standards and Ideal Hospital Framework.
• Conduct client satisfaction surveys and share results with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure that monthly internal audits are conducted in patients care units in compliance with National Core Standards
