• Transport corpses to the mortuary, together with the files and complete the mortuary register. Perform other duties as allocated by the supervisor. Ensure that laboratory results are delivered to the wards daily.
• The red box is collected from the wards to the pharmacy and from the Pharmacy to the wards. Porters carry and deliver Patient files to various units. Check the Oxygen Cylinders daily that are in good working condition.

Requirements :

• Grade 12 Minimum educational qualification: Basic R425 QUALIFICATION (i.e Diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as registered nurse and midwife. A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional nurse with SANC in general nursing.

Duties :

• Management of clinical Training unit -effective supervision and leadership. Ensure that the unit meets the regulatory SANC accreditation and office of the Health standards Compliance for training Align the Clinical Training and Human resource department issues to the Departmental Strategic objectives.
• Provide direction and support with regards to the strategic issues, management, supervision, development and implementation of Policies, Guidelines and Protocols. Coordinate training in the Institution which includes Development and Training materials and manuals align to the National Guidelines and materials aligned to the National guidelines and relevant training needs.
• Conduct skills audit and identify training needs for clinical staff. Ensure correct implementation of training strategies by conducting supervisory visits to units after training. Coordinate professional development training as per Central office training schedule. Coordinate study leaves application for part time and full-time studies to ensure that the Study Leave Policy is adhered to.
• Submit reports and monthly statistics to supervisor and Central office as required. Attend meetings and updates related to training at HRD, LMSD and Nursing Colleges and meetings related to patient care. Ensure effective functioning of in-training committees. Form part of the Quality Assurance Team to ensure compliance to National Core Standards.
• Forms part of Quality Assurance – audits ,training impact analysis , nursing education surveys and research , information management ,monitoring and evaluating training programs, service quality, standard operating procedures, and quality improvement programs. Delivering and effective support service to the Nursing component and the institution. Ensure facilitation of the implementation of the National Nursing Strategic Plan.

Requirements :

• A minimum of seven (7) years recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse. A qualification in Health Service Management/ Nursing Administration/Management. Duties :

• Implementation of all HAST programmes in the hospital and their supervision for compliance. Manage multi-disciplinary HAST staff including the NGO lay coucellors.
• Monitoring of all categories in the hospital for compliance to HAST principles. Prepare for HAST in-service training for the patients and staff, attend to relevant HAST external workshops according to the need.
• Responsible for giving inputs to management about facility compliance to HAST principles. Report to the Deputy Manager for Programmes and submit monthly on challengers and proposed resolutions. Co-ordination of all patient care, implement Quality Assurance standards and other mandatory priorities related to HAART management.

Perform as an Operational Manager in accordance with the Scope of Practice Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors and other health professionals and junior colleagues. Implementation of National Core Standards.
