    Assistant Manager Nursing (Quality Assurance) X 1

    Requirements :

    • Minimum qualifications: Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council ( SANC) in terms of Government Notice 425. i.e diploma/degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse.
    • A minimum of 8 (eight) years appropriate / recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/ recognizable experience at management level.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Quality Assurance management only.
    • Computer literate. Must have strong written and oral abilities. Leadership skills are necessary for motivating and directing staff and overseeing projects. Have reading skills to ensure all materials, specialty data and of high-quality and accurate.
    • Generate reports and be able to make a presentation. Complete knowledge of the National Core Standard for Health Establishment.

    Duties :

    • Coordinate reporting investigations and management of complaints and serious adverse events, incidences in the hospital. Participate in selected clinical audits.
    • Provide initiative to improve customer care in a user-friendly environment.
    • Advocate for and ensure the promotion of National Core (NORMS) Standards and Ideal Hospital Framework.
    • Conduct client satisfaction surveys and share results with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure that monthly internal audits are conducted in patients care units in compliance with National Core Standards
