    Assistant Quality Manager

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

    • Manages Quality Agenda at the plant to ensure full deployment of continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate and manage the plant Team’s performance on the quality agenda.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Manages Quality Analyst to deliver performance Continuous Improvement: Deployment of Quality Pillar at the plant. Trending and categorization of losses
    • Benchmark and share learnings from other sites
    • Quality Management System: Including, ensuring compliance with Unilever and all external quality standards.
    • Ensures compliance to category GMPs standards Customer and Consumer Focus: Responsible for factory CRQS and full compliance.
    • Drives complaints and corrective action Change Management: Involved in all quality innovation projects with all relevant stakeholders—input during design management stages of EEM.
    • Owns quality culture journey and relevant campaigns Incident Management: Participates in all recalls, consumer safety and serious incidents investigations.
    • Process Capability: Drives quality process capability surveys using available statistical tools.
    • Support Production with problem-solving and QA Advice Management and Control: Influencing, People management, Technical management and Relationship building
    • Skills and Learning Factory Teams: Training needs analysis identified and addressed for factory teams. Refresher training schedules and conducts. Drive Beauty Culture Journey

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Chemical/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering Degree OR Biotechnology/ Food Technology/ Analytical Chemistry/ Quality or any other relevant qualification
    • Must have 3 years of Quality Lead experience within an FMCG/ Manufacturing environment
    • Solid management, leadership, decision making and influential skills experience is critical Proficient experience holding Plant Leadership and Team accountable
