Assistant Technician Dairy at Kontak Recruitment

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience with food manufacturing equipment, dairy experience preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge
• Hands-on experience with rotary fillers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, and yoghurt fillers
• Knowledge of food safety standards, such as HACCP is beneficial
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to relocate to Mpumalanga

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining, repairing, and servicing dairy packaging machinery
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime
• Support and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with senior technicians and production teams on daily operations
• Ensure all work complies with food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Work shifts, overtime, and call-out duties as required
