Assistant to the Buyer at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Support the buyer in all aspects of the buying and selling process, ensuring smooth workflow from order placement to delivery.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and customers regarding samples, costings, contracts, and outstanding submissions.
• Manage critical path processes, including order tracking, database updates, and shipment coordination.
• Organize and maintain product samples, showroom setup, and office documentation.
• Arrange and follow up on product testing, quality control, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, courier coordination, and maintaining office supplies.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work in a pressurized environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.
• Own transport required.
