Job Advert Summary    

• Assist with the operation and monitoring of downstream equipment within the Condensed Milk Tin Packaging and Production Factory, supporting efficient production flow, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety procedures.                                                                                                                      

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Experience in Condensed Milk Tin Packaging/Production factory advantageous
• Business English: Fluent
• 2-5yrs relevant experience (FMCG/Food Production) in applying job related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level
•  Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Operate, monitor and control allocated downstream packaging equipment and activities on the production line.
• Prepare, start up, monitor & maintain and shutdown packaging equipment within the scope of authority
• Monitor critical parameters and solve problems
• Capture data (control sheets)
• Prepare the work area for maintenance and reinstate after maintenance is complete
• Issue job cards for non-scheduled maintenance
• Complete daily and weekly production maintenance schedules
• Sample and test packaging quality
• Monitor critical parameters and solve problems
• Capture data (control sheets)
• Maintain safety, health and environmental standards and good manufacturing practices
• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Ensure downstream plant cleanliness
• Adhere to energy saving principles
