Au Pair | Oaklands | R8500 - R9000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Oaklands, JHB
• Children’s Ages: 6 and 8 years old
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: 8 year old has ADHD (HI type) and can be a bit sensory seeking but nothing outrageous. She is very well controlled on meds. She is quite flexible as long as she knows why any changes are happening. Homework can be tricky, so someone form and patient would be ideal.
• Support Style: She gets therapies at school (OT, speech for reading mostly). She loves, LOVES, all living creatures, especially cats and horses. She regulates well with fidgets, and movement breaks especially swimming. If she's having a rough time she prefers a little alone time, but is quite quick to regulate herself usually
• Working hours: Monday 14:00 – 16:00, Tuesday 13:00 – 15:00, Wednesday 13:00 – 16:00 and Thursday 13:00 – 16:00
• School holiday hours: Same approximate hours, with some flexibility appreciated.
• Duties: Transporting children between school, extra murals and home. Some homework supervision. Supervising free-play or arts and crafts.
• Special Requirements: High energy, assertive. Preferably older than 21 years. Water-safe: able to supervise swimming. Knowledge of first aid would be advantageous.
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R8500 - R9000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
