Automation Test Manager at DotModus

Scope :

The Test manager takes full responsibility for a project’s success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management , and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort. The Test Lead / Manager is responsible for building up and leading the testing team to the success of the project. 

The role of a WA Manager in an Agile environment :

• Facilitation of inter-team communication across many agile projects within an organization
• Presenting an aggregate view of testing to the high-level management
• Personal support, mentoring and professional development for testers
• Being an escalation point for testers
• Budgeting or forecasting for testing as a service dependent on organizational process.

Additional value add areas for QA Managers :

• Be an advocate of QA throughout the organization
• Recruitment of QA’s and Automation testers
• Provide technical expertise, e.g. proper use of test techniques in appropriate cases
• Ensuring the Scrum Teams implement and follow best practices to prevent defects. 

Qualifications & Requirements

• ISTQB Test Manager Certification (non-negotiable)
• 3 - 5 year Test Manager experience in an Agile & Project business
