BI and Analytics Developer at Games Global

We are currently looking for a BI and Analytics Developer to join our Central Intelligence Solutions team. In this role, you will collaborate with our analysts, data scientists and developers on data initiatives and products, ensuring data is optimally and consistently delivered per agreed requirements. You will also provide ongoing maintenance, support and optimisation of existing data assets and delivery architectures. Once scope and priority is assigned to work items, they must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.

What you'll do?

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and priorities
• Designing and developing complex data models and ETL processes
• Tuning database queries and optimizing analytics performance
• Managing data security and access controls for analytics solutions
• Collaborating with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models
• Participating in data architecture and data modeling discussions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of work experience in a data focused development role. 
• An undergrad or postgraduate degree in a quantitative field : Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Physics, Finance, Economics, or Engineering. 
• Well knowledgeable and experienced in working with data warehousing concepts and data lake architecture.
• Experienced with working with different ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience in database tuning and optimization. 
• Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Snowflake, Databricks or Apache Spark is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azureis also highly advantageous.
