BIM Modeller (Civil 3D) at AECOM

Job Description

The BIM Modeller, performs routine, structured work in a required discipline and demonstrates ability to take on more complex tasks.

An intermediate user in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) / Autodesk Civil 3D (Civils), or similar, who can draw/model with limited supervision having the ability to create content within a specific discipline. Must also be an intermediate user in other core discipline specific software.

• Technical Excellence:
• Routine/repeated tasks accomplished within assistance
• Receives guidance or direction from others with limited discretion to vary from established procedures
• Contributes by performing routine, structure work assignments in specific job function, expanding complexity of tasks performed
• Follow standard operating procedures/methodologies, using them to solve routine or standard problems. Identifies problems in existing procedures.
• General proficiency with tools, systems and procedures required for role
• May need continued support on some technical issues
• Applies experiences and skills to complete assigned tasks within area of expertise

Qualifications

• National Diploma (Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering) or similar
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (Civils), or a similar software, who can draw/model with limited supervision having the ability to create content within a Roads and Highways discipline.
• 1 Years' + experience with modelling software in an engineering environment (Roads/Bridges/highways)
