Boilermaker - Richards Bay at Clariant

Responsibilities

• Work not only in the workshop doing fabrications, but also in the plant by repairing and installing equipment whilst working closely with the site Fitters. 
• Develop and fabricating piping, steelwork, structures as well as demonstrating advanced workshop skills, such as lobster bends, elbows, chutes and square to round development. 
• Hand on with regards to problem solving I.E  to go to equipment, decide on possible solutions, measure up, design, develop, then do fabrication.

Requirements

• Trade Tested Plater/ Boilermaker.
• At least 5 years’ post trade experience in a chemical plant.
• Experience in stick, Argon and MiG CO welding essential.
• SAP planned maintenance experience essential.
• Basic fitting knowledge.
• Experience with mild steel and various grades of stainless steel.
