Work not only in the workshop doing fabrications, but also in the plant by repairing and installing equipment whilst working closely with the site Fitters.
Develop and fabricating piping, steelwork, structures as well as demonstrating advanced workshop skills, such as lobster bends, elbows, chutes and square to round development.
Hand on with regards to problem solving I.E to go to equipment, decide on possible solutions, measure up, design, develop, then do fabrication.
Requirements
Trade Tested Plater/ Boilermaker.
At least 5 years’ post trade experience in a chemical plant.
Experience in stick, Argon and MiG CO welding essential.
SAP planned maintenance experience essential.
Basic fitting knowledge.
Experience with mild steel and various grades of stainless steel.
