• Our client, a well-established accounting firm based in Durban North, is recruiting for a Bookkeeper who is passionate about accounting and looking to grow their career within a professional accounting environment. Applicants should have an accounting qualification or be studying towards one, together with 1-3 years’ experience working within an accounting firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and reconciling accounts from cash book through to trial balance, preparing and submitting VAT returns, bank and general ledger reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with general bookkeeping and month-end accounting processes for a portfolio of clients. Experience working on Pastel Partner is essential, and own vehicle will be an advantage.
