Bookkeeper - Dolphin Coast at Marvel Placement Consultant

• We are recruiting for a Bookkeeper for one of our clients within the Financial Planning for Medical Practitioners, that would be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The successful candidate should come with at least 1 year experience within the Finance/Accounting industry.

Minimum requirements

• Matric
• 1+ years’ experience within the Financial industry.
• Studying towards or completed relevant Accounting degree or Higher Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License and own Vehicle.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Data capturing - Request supporting documentation
• Bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Creditors and debtors’ reconciliations
• Management and variance reports
• Research financial histories
• Complete basic Tax returns
• Complete signed off VAT returns
• Perform CIPC registrations
• Post journals when required
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist client with queries
• Any other duties instructed by management within a reasonable scope
