Bookkeeper – Engineering Industry at Prostaff Holdings (Pty) Ltd

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Financial accounting or bookkeeping or related qualification is essential.
• 3-5 years’ experience having worked in a bookkeeping role is essential.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills.
• Previous experience having worked on Accpac or a related accounting package is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing and preparing the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance.
• Processing and balancing Cashbooks.
• Reconciling of control accounts and balancing of accounts.
• Managing bank reconciliation.
• Controlling of petty cash.
• Managing the payments of foreign creditors.
• Managing the reconciliation of foreign creditors.
• Handling of invoices.
• Updating of various spreadsheets.
