    BPR Manager

    Your key responsibilities include but not limited to

    • Provide oversight for and management of the development and implementation of sustainable, repeatable, reliable and cost-effective financial processes to meet emerging and future business requirements of the client
    • Lead proposals related to our offerings and take them successfully to clients 
    • Leading projects that ensure high quality advisory and consulting services to major clients, preferably with a practical approach as learned during working in the business 
    • Creating / contributing to the creation of new services, tools and materials to be more successful on the market
    • Achievement of ambitious targets for growth, utilization, and operational excellence and consistent implementation of EY policies and tools to enable these priorities while supporting the engagement of our people
    • Involvement in people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals and act as a role model
    • Active participation in the creation and maintenance of an environment that enables the team to manage delivery effectively and achieve the highest quality
    • Maintain relationships with the client’s management in order to manage the expectations of service
    • Experience with finance functions – ‘Record to report’, ‘Procure to pay’ and ‘Order to cash’ processes involving account reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting / management
    • Conduct workshops with clients to perform current state As-Is process assessment and design & optimize Future state processes as per leading practices & industry benchmarks
    • Identify process improvement opportunities using automation, technology upgradation & process standardization
    • Create L1-L5 “As-Is” and “To-Be” process mapping using tools such as ARIS, IBM Blueworks and Visio
    • Experience in process mining tools such as Celonis and other tools like Alteryx
    • Experience in SAP (FICO) and having BPM expertise
    • Design KPIs and Control frameworks for O2C, P2P and R2R processes 
    • Design Finance Operating model to improve efficiency and service delivery
    • Strong accounting skills and understands financial reports and statements
    • Knowledge on Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning and Budgeting Processes
    • Working knowledge of GBS / SSC setup engagements
    • Should have knowledge of activities in financial close of an organisation for month / Quarter / Annual close periods
    • Good Knowledge on ledger and sub-ledger systems; technical know-how of SAP ERP / HANA, Oracle GL (good to have)
    • Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
    • Good experience in Chart of accounts (CoA) design
    • Managing/ supervising teams of people on project work
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
    • Open to travel (Domestic & International)

    Skills and attributes for success

    • Consulting experience is a good to have
    • IFRS Certification is a good to have
    • Confident & professional communication style
    • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
    • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
    • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
    • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
    • Capability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
    • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
    • Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills for interpreting the IFRS standards

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    • CA, CFA, CPA, MBA OR Master’s in business administration in Finance
    • 10+ years of work experience in Accounting Regulation Change and IFRS Implementation projects (Recent/Ongoing Implementations such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and IFRS 17)
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

    Ideally, you’ll also have

    • Exposure to tools like ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, BlueWorks, Celonis, Alteryx, etc.
    • Project management skills, IFRS Implementation / IFRS Reporting Experience
    • Finance Transformation, GBS/SSC Setup
