Breeder Farm Foreman at Astral Foods Ltd

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Ensuring all aspects of running a site are met;
• Overseeing the site workers on a daily basis;
• Maintenance of the site according to the company’s standards;
• Welfare of our birds;
• Ventilation management;
• Feed management;
• Vaccinations;
• Production performance;
• Proper implementation of 20 Keys;

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Matric;
• Post Matric relevant poultry qualification;
• 1-3 years poultry supervisory experience;
• Effective people management skills;
• An ability to cope under pressure;
• Be proficient in Eng/Afr/Zulu languages;
• Must have a valid driver’s license;
• Must be able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
