Job Description

• The purpose and role of a Building Foreman is to ensure the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and snag free, responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising all site operatives within his/her section of work, organise all site teams, control designated sections of construction activities, responsible for placing of material & plant orders timeously, coordinating & implementation of the companies SHE procedures & policies, ensure implementation of the companies QMS procedures & policies, ensure that a quality product is achieved according to project specifications and good building practice.

Job Requirements
Academic Qualification

• Grade 12
• Occupational Health and Safety Course 

Years of Experience

• 10 Years + Technical Experience 
• 3 Years + Managerial Experience

Professional Registration and Statutory appointment

• Statutory Appointment 7(8) Construction Supervisor 

Key Relationships

• Clients
• Specialist consultants
• Sub-Contractor / SMME's
• Local Authorities

Role specific Demands

• Manage on-site construction works and workers, subcontractors and equipment within his/het delegated section of work 
• Enforcing of company policies and procedures
• Continued planning of plant and resources
• Plan, implement and manage construction tasks and activities in accordance with priorities and goals
• Daily Effective communication to workers and subcontractors
